A fun-filled day..

So after today, I will NEVER ever judge someones outer appearance again. Because you never know if they just came from the ER! That being said...

I've been sick the past couple of days, stomach flu or something, and was getting worried about it hurting the baby. I wasn't keeping down any liquids, and the Dr told me to go to the ER if it went on longer. Which it did, so that's where I spent my day today! It was actually a quick and pleasant experience, needles and wheelchairs aside. I just had to get a bunch of meds and liquids via IV, but most importantly, first had to get the baby checked out. Everything was A-OK. They attached listening monitors to my stomach for her heartbeat, and every time they found it, she tried to kick them off that spot. I don't think she likes people (me aside) or things "touching" her. Definitely takes after her mom! :)

Anyways, I'm feeling a bit better now, and I'm glad that's resolved and every things going to be fine. My dad took me today, and afterwards we went to Walmart to get some medicine, and I was getting some ugly looks from people, as my dad so kindly pointed out. Probably because I looked like walking death.. Hence my opening statement.

Josh made it to Virginia really late Friday night. They took a 16 hour bus ride there.. yikes! He has a phone now, so its been nice to give/have support at easier access. He will be assigned to his new platoon on Monday, and then his classes for AIT start. He will be here in less then 2 weeks now, so I'm getting excited for that.
