GIRL!!!!
She has started to be VERY active, as of yesterday. It surprised me yesterday at church to feel several bumps and pops, so much so, that it made me laugh during a "serious" part of the lesson in Sunday School. The teacher gave me a funny look. My mom went with me to the ultrasound today, and we were able to watch her move around, quite a bit. We could see her flexing all of the fingers. Here she is, probably practicing punching me, which she is getting good at.
I think its so amazing to see all of this stuff. My friend Kati, the tech, showed me every little thing about her, even her tiny little lips, eyes, and her little toes. This, clearly, is a picture of her leg and foot. Her belly is above that, and one of the 2 black spots is her stomach. Not sure which. I got to see her heart beating- it looked like a tiny little turnip, wiggling back and forth.
After the appt, we went to the hospital diner/gift shop and got something to eat. My mom bought a cute, soft little lamb, called Winky that has a rattle in it. I went to TJ Maxx later on, and had to stop myself from buying cute litte girl onsies!
So that's that! My next checkup is next Thursday, which is when the Dr will go over the whole ultrasound with me and let me know everything is going good.
